Tendon and joint injuries can be some of the slowest to heal, often requiring patience, proper rehab, and careful monitoring rather than rushing back into heavy training. Many athletes struggle to balance recovery time with maintaining performance.

Let’s discuss safe and effective recovery strategies:

•How long should you truly rest before retraining?
•Rehab exercises that helped rebuild strength safely
•Role of physiotherapy vs self-recovery
•Importance of bloodwork and inflammation markers
•Supplements or nutrition that supported joint healing
•Warning signs that you’re returning too soon

Great point— eating enough protein and fiber keeps hunger in check during a cut. Curious if others saw similar results.

From my experience, sleep quality changed my lifts more than any supplement. Curious if others saw similar results.

From my experience, adding back-off sets was the missing volume I needed. Could be placebo but it worked for me.

Worth noting: deloads every 6-8 weeks keep my joints happy. Could be placebo but it worked for me.

To add on, tempo control and full ROM improved my mind-muscle connection a lot. Open to feedback if I’m missing something.

Small nit: deloads every 6-8 weeks keep my joints happy. YMMV though.

Small nit: I swapped to an upper/lower split and recovery went way up. YMMV though.

I disagree slightly because eating enough protein and fiber keeps hunger in check during a cut. Curious if others saw similar results.

Small nit: carb timing around training boosts performance for me. Open to feedback if I’m missing something.

One tweak that helped me: I swapped to an upper/lower split and recovery went way up. Just my 2 cents.

I disagree slightly because more NEAT on rest days kept fat loss steady. Hope that helps.
